The Mission of Starfish Cafe

New Beginnings - Starfish Project is a community-based initiative in the City of Mandurah dedicated to supporting homeless families and individuals—or those at risk of homelessness—by providing stable housing solutions, reliable transportation, and essential life support services.

With this grant, we aim to:

• Support 10 families per year from homelessness into caravans, cabins, or units.

• Assist 5 singles or families per year without vehicles by providing registration, repairs, or access to reliable cars.

• Offer intensive care partnerships to selected clients over a 12-month period, providing tailored support for transitioning from homelessness to long-term stability.

Our mission is simple: create pathways to safe, stable living and a better future for those in crisis.
